See Lovely Valley Trail! Wirtz VA. Walk 5 km (3 mi)

Walk / Hike the Lovely Valley Trail at Smith Farm behind Napoli Cowboy Restaurant. See picture above for the Lovely Valley Loop Trail Parking Lot, which is 300 feet down Lovely Valley Road past the restaurant. Then stay for dinner. If you can't make the walk, join us at 4:30 pm for dinner and friendship. The table is reserved under Ron Jones.
To cover 5 km, we will walk a portion of the trail twice and also go down the old farm road thru the farm fields. When walking the trail last October, I saw two wild turkeys! The trail winds thru woods and down to two bridges over the creek. It has a little over 200 feet of elevation gain.
The walk cost is $2 to defray admin expenses, but those wanting AVA walk credit pay $4 (correct change appreciated). Those willing to do 10 AVA walks will get a free new Walkers Kit, value $21! Meet in the trail head parking lot by 2:50 pm to register so we leave by 3:00 pm. After the walk we will drive to Napoli Cowboy. Look for walk host Ron Jones by his gray car.
