About us
We are a longstanding (since 1999) recreational dragonboating team. We're not super competitive, but we try hard and we have fun.
Our season runs April to September. We practice weekly at Sunnyside Paddling Club in the Lakeshore/ Parkside area, and we compete in weekend regattas (races) in the Toronto area about 4 times each year. We're a small team, fielding one boat (20 people) in each race.
Our roster is usually full or close to it. We may or may not have an opening at any given moment, but feel free to inquire.
If you are interested in dragonboating, you can also contact Sunnyside Paddling Club directly through their website. They may be able to put you in touch with a team that is short of paddlers. They also offer a learn to paddle program.
