What we’re about
SMUG Dev is a free annual meeting of technology professionals in Key West FL. It always falls the Thursday prior to the largest code camp in the United States, South Florida Code Camp.
SMUG Dev is part mini-code camp and part geek retreat where "alpha geeks" and decision makers come from all over the country for a bonding experience like no other.
The event kicks off with an evening reception at a Key West establishment on Wednesday night, then starting (not to early) on Thursday we will have a day full of 20-30 minute faced packed high-content sessions that range from mobile desktop and server development, software processes to staffing your company. Once sessions are over there will be a little break in the formal activities to let you explore Key West prior to the formal SMUG Dev class picture at Sunset on Malory Square. After the event we will all meet somewhere for a great dinner and social activities.
The event closes with a caravan up to Ft. Lauderdale to kick off a great weekend at the South Florida Code Camp
