It's painful for any Product Manager and Designer to work on the wrong user problems. Even worse is when you recognize the right user issues but are unable to win the company over so that it finds its way into the product roadmap.

Up until we implemented **the Double Diamond framework**, we had experienced the same struggles. The Double Diamond has given Smule's PMs and Designers the ability to identify the right user problems and consequently create better solutions. Keep in mind, Smule has millions of active users, so doing things correctly from the start has allowed us to get to successful end-products much faster.

By sharing an actual project we've worked on, we will walk you through our step-by-step process for applying the Double Diamond so we can minimize the tedious theory.
