Intro to NeoPixels (Addressable LEDs)

Pre reqs - Basic Arduino knowledge / usage.
Please bring your laptop and Arduino - I do have extras of both.

NeoPixels:
Types / form factors of NeoPixels (WS2812B/S / WS2811)
getting your Arduino to talk to the Neopixels.
Basic functions
RGB mixing
Basic commands
How to solder to them
How to mount them
Coding strategies
take a strip home to play with!!

If you bring a cosplay you want to light up,, I will give you an extra strip for free.

Charge what you like for a workshop, we will help you with attracting members, and providing space. We ask for 50% of the workshop fees after your expenses or the entire amount can be credited as membership dues.
