This workshop covers introductory knowledge required to use the new CO2 laser and the new software we are using to control it. If you attend and successfully demonstrate knowledge you'll be certified for use*.
The course will cover:
- Laser safety
- What can and can't be cut in the CO2 laser
- How to set up the laser
- How to use Lightburn (If you want your own copy you can get a 30 day free trial of this software https://lightburnsoftware.com/ plus those that complete the class can get a discount code for purchase)
- How to import files into the control software
- Where to get wood and plastic for lasering
