Maker Space Laser Bring-up!

After lots of late nights, our maker space laser is just about ready to be commissioned!

No experience required, but you have to be an active member due to insurance coverage. The first portion of this event will be a show-and-tell demo to catch everyone back up, and then we will start putting together the rest of the machine to hopefully commission it!

Show and tell:
- CAD review - a lot had changed - let's spin some CAD.
- CNC equipment bring up - component level testing, order of testing.
- Lightburn configuration - how to tie all the components together
- Optics alignment (high level overview)

Hands on assembly / commissioning
- Install the main door, gas spring structs, sheet metal rear panels, additional gusseting for the rear support structure
- Install, wire and test all the door sensors.
- Install controls HMI
- Duct the laser's exhaust
- Sign something - I want to engrave signatures of everyone who had worked on that laser onto the laser (eventually!)
