Join us for this class that covers introductory knowledge required to use the lasers available at SnoCo Makerspace! Members that attend and successfully demonstrate knowledge will be allowed use of these great tools.
The course will cover:
- Laser safety
- What can and can't be cut
- How to set up the laser
- How to use Lightburn (If you want your own copy you can get a 30 day free trial of this software https://lightburnsoftware.com/ plus those that complete the class can get a discount code for purchase)
- How to import files into the control software
- Where to get wood and plastic for lasering
