NEW VENUE! @ Mountlake Terrace Library! Snohomish Freethinker's Meetup

Starting March 7th, we meet first Thursdays of each month here:

Mountlake Terrace Library:
23300 58th Ave W,
Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043

No library card is required, unless you want to borrow something. (I checked with a librarian.) Nothing else is required but the librarian seemed to disapprove of certain communities in western WA that don't pay taxes to support libraries, e.g., Woodway. This isn't an issue for any of our attendees.

The library is a modern building with good parking.

We meet in the smaller of the two meeting rooms: Enter the library and there are restrooms and the larger meeting room on the right, but continue through the double doors, take a right at the front library desk, and you'll find the smaller meeting room off the children's library.

The moderator, only if necessary, will enforce a two-minute limit on speaking, to make sure that everybody is heard, and cut down on interruptions. Hopefully we can have a free flowing conversation that will not require any moderation!

Food and Beverage (except alcohol) are allowed in this room, so feel free to pack a meal for yourself if you haven't had dinner yet.

Mask wearing is encouraged for seniors or for those experiencing health issues, or those wise enough to wear them for ANY reason!

CAR POOL available for those willing to meet near the I-5 corridor from Bellingham WA, through Skagit County and upper Snohomish County, courtesy of Dennis Hoofnagle and his new roomy Tesla Y! He has room for up to 3 more people in his 5 person capacity fully powered by the Sun from his electric panels at his home! Go Green! Zero Carbon!
