Is it wrong to Judge?
We tend to act as if it’s wrong, but then again we all kinda do it all the time don’t we? To judge is to be human. We assess what is around us and make decisions based on what we feel is right. We have a moral compass that makes us say things like:
“I’m so proud of you!”
“That’s messed up”
“You really shouldn’t be doing that”
“You’ve got my support”
“I would have done things a little differently”
To judge is to have a moral compass. To judge is to have a sense of discernment. To judge is to have an opinion.
What are the downsides of judging, other than the fact that we can be really bad at it. Is it that we’re hypocritical? Do we set the standards too high? Are we too quick to judge with very little information?
I personally think judging is underrated and should not be considered a negative behavior that it is so often painted as. But then again who am I to judge?
What are your thoughts? Come get a drink or some food with us and join a fun and thought-provoking discussion!
