What we’re about
This club is dedicated to the movies that have gained a reputation for being ‘so bad they are good’ or ‘So bad they are humorous’. I am a big fan of the infamous movie ‘The Room’ . After attending a screening of ‘The Room’ I was amazed at how fun it was. The spirits where high, the crowd was fantastic and I really liked the sense of community. I had an absolute blast. My hope is to find more movies that can invoke the same joyful reaction.
The goal of this club is the search and screen other movies that, whether due to bizarre acting, directing , writing etc are considered entertainingly bad. The hope is to build a friendly community for those interested in the art of ‘So bad its good’ movies.

Current plan:
Due to Covid-19, safety is considered important for anyone who wishes to participate. Therefore I wish to keep all movie showings online for the time being. This creates several challenges both in terms of 1) How to stream movies to a live audience and 2) How to make the experience social and interactive. Any advice is welcome. The hope is to eventually move to screening movies for an audience in one room.
