OLD TOWN SEAL BEACH MAIN STREET GUIDED WALKING TOUR
Details
Join us for a guided walking tour of Old Town Seal Beach led by Leigh Sentenac of the Seal Beach Historic Resources Foundation.
The 2 hour walking tour on city sidewalks brings to life the development of “Mayberry by the Sea.” It’s a new way to experience Seal Beach — and a perfect chance to spend the afternoon enjoying all that Old Town Seal Beach has to offer.
The walk covers 6 city blocks, on flat terrain.
The tour is free. Of course, if you can help the foundation with a small donation, they won’t object :-) Details on donations will be provided during the tour.
The tour leaves promptly at 1:00 P.M. from the Seal Beach Clock Tower at the foot of the Seal Beach Pier. Check-in begins at 12:45. There is plenty of street parking available with a two-hour maximum and also a paid parking lot below the Seal Beach Pier which can be accessed at 8th St. and Ocean Ave.
Wear comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, a hat and bring bottled water.
I would suggest arriving early and have lunch in Seal Beach as there are plenty of great restaurants (The Hang Out, Walt's Wharf,Taco Surf, La Crema Cafe, Hennessey's, Avila's and more) to choose from!
