UPPER NEWPORT BAY INTERMEDIATE HIKING TOUR LED BY A NATURALIST
Details
A 2 hour naturalist-led intermediate hiking tour of the Upper Newport Bay including Shellmaker Island. Our guide will
stop at various points to share information about wildlife, native history, and/or geology!

Maximum attendee group size is 20.
First 20 PAID will be allowed to attend this tour.
Please be aware this tour is more intermediate than their standard walking tour with
some uneven terrain, stairs, and inclines.
Dress appropriately. Participants should wear close-toed shoes, hat, sunscreen and bring a reusable
water bottle plus a snack.
The hike/tour will start at the Back Bay Science Center. It will be open to the public for Community Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and offers plenty of free lot parking and an easy meet-up location.
