Lets join our friends at the Humanist Association of Orange County,

Steph Campbell, representing the League of Women Voters, will provide a presentation of the 14 propositions on the California ballot this November. You can find lots of useful information with the League’s Vote 411 Tool: https://www.vote411.org/california

Zoom Reg HERE

Please note, local propositions will not be covered, just those that are state-wide.

The initiative process was created one hundred years ago so California citizens would not have to only rely on lawmakers to make new laws.
Propositions can:

  • Create new laws
  • Change or repeal existing laws
  • Change the State Constitution
  • Approve a bond measure

The League of Women Voters does not support or oppose candidates or political parties. It encourages informed and active participation in government and works to increase understanding of major public policy issues and influence public policy through education.

The LWV will not provide voting recommendations but will present each proposition in an objective and non-partisan manner with a special focus on “Follow The Money.” For all your voting needs including absentee ballots, election dates & registration deadlines go to either ocvote.com or www.sos.ca.gov/elections.
