We're having a party for people who care about the planet. Same time, same place, every week. You're invited. Every event we put on includes dinner, facilitation, and vibes. Soapbox Project believes finances should never act as a barrier for folks to participate in our events. Join Soapbox Project and Izzy Goldbear for an evening of visible mending, sashiko stitching, and community care. Participants are invited to bring a garment or textile in need of repair and learn simple hand-stitching techniques in a relaxed, welcoming environment. This workshop focuses on slowing down, working with our hands, and giving clothing new life together.
The plan:
- 5 pm | doors open, dinner available
- 5:30 pm | welcome announcements
- 5:45 | basic mending introduction
- 5:50-8:00 pm | mending time!
Please arrive by 5:30pm so you have time to eat before the programming begins.
