The Dallas Regional Group of Soaring Spirits International connects widowed people in the metro Dallas, TX area for peer support. To join the meetup at no cost, click this link https://widowedvillage.org where your application will be screened by trained volunteers. Upon approval through Widowed Village, click "Join" in Meetup for final steps. We are happy to welcome you to our group!
We understand that you are grieving the loss of the person whom you believed you would spend the rest of your life with. We do not want you to grieve alone. We can offer understanding, friendship, inspiration and encouragement. We believe that connecting with other widowed people makes the challenge of surviving a spouse or partner a little easier to manage. We believe hope matters and that access to hope changes lives.
Our group has been through it, it is run by widowed people and we understand care and want to help. We meet twice a month at different locations to share meals, activities, friendship, understanding and laughter.
All local widowed people are welcome, inclusive of anyone who has lost a life partner to death. Any widowed person regardless of age, gender, nationality, sexual orientation or religious affiliation is welcome to attend!
