Event Title: Let's Explore Southport, NC!
Description: Join us for a delightful day in the charming town of Southport, NC! Nestled along the coast, this quaint little town offers so much to love, from eclectic stores and local art galleries to scenic waterfront views and historical landmarks. We’ll explore the charming downtown area, stroll among the live oaks at the park, and take in the peaceful atmosphere of this slow-living gem.
Lunch will be at one of Southport's many wonderful restaurants, followed by a leisurely walk through the town. For fans of Nicholas Sparks, we’ll also visit the museum featuring memorabilia from the movie Safe Haven, which was filmed right here in Southport! If you’re a fan of the film, you might want to brush up on it before we go.
Our adventure starts in Calabash, where we’ll carpool to Southport together. Once you RSVP, the organizer will reach out with the exact meetup location for carpooling, and we’ll provide more details about the first stop in case anyone wants to meet us directly in Southport.
What to Bring: Comfortable shoes for walking, water to stay hydrated, and your curiosity for this lovely, laid-back day!
