Ben’s Friend’s Comedor Sober Supper Club

Join us at Comedor for a special Dry January edition of Sober Supper Club in support of Ben’s Friend’s. Chef Philip Speer is the leader of the Austin chapter of this meeting for food and beverage workers in recovery and will be serving up family style modern Mexican cuisine with Texas influences and a focus on sourcing organic and sustainable ingredients through Austin area farmers. Non-alcoholic cocktail pairings for each course will be provided by our sponsors featuring Ritual and Seedlip.

Ben’s Friends is a coalition of sober F&B people committed to their sobriety in an industry filled with drugs, alcohol, and stress. Each of us has found or is seeking sobriety and a way to deal with our careers and life in a sane and purposeful fashion. We are here to share together how we do it and provide those seeking sobriety with the tools and the community needed to find it. Our only purpose is to help each other find freedom from the bondage of our addiction.
