Kirtan and HeartSong by Candlelight Dun Laoghaire May 16th with tabla Dermo-ji

Dearest friends & light-lovers,

Delighted to share we are gathering Friday, May 16th at the gorgeous Escapada Health Studio in Dun Laoghaire, 7:30pm - 9pm. We will be accompanied by the super talented Dermo-ji on Tabla, Djembe and Darbuka.

A gorgeously sacred & nourishing space, to come as you are, to pause, sing in harmony, dance, move, pray, breathe, unwind &/or restore our inner balance together.

We will begin with a heart opening meditation - allowing the vibrations to clear and the energy to flow within and around us. This will be followed by the deeply effective yet very simple technique of EFT, (Emotional Freedom Technique), or Pranayama, to recenter our physical & emotional essence back to balance and embodiment. We will then dive into our musical flow with HeartSongs and the ancient practice of Kirtan, a simple call & response form of chanting from the heart, originating from India, accompanied by harmonium, guitar & tabla. We always end with a powerful yoga nidra & sound bath.

If you are new to our gatherings, you will be welcomed warmly.
Absolutely no experience of singing or meditation necessary.

WHAT TO BRING?-There is a limited supply of mats in the studio, so please bring your own cushion, mat, & blanket if you can, to keep you snug & to ensure ultimate cosiness.
Lots of water. Your beautiful self, as you are!

TRANSPORT:
DART: The studio lies equidistant between Dun Laoghaire and Sandycove & Glasthule Dart stations. It is about a 8 min walk from both stations ( yep, I timed it!)
BUSES: All bus routes that go to Dun Laoghire will drop you very near the studio.
PARKING: There is lots of street parking available and is free after 7pm in the local area.
