9/29: Get to know Microsoft Map & Geo

Overview for the session:
Hidden in plain sight, the Microsoft Maps & Geo Team powers all Maps at Microsoft. If you are using a built-in map in Dynamics, Power BI or even Excel, you are using a Microsoft map. This talk will start with the history of Maps at Microsoft, discuss what we are doing today and finish with how you can leverage Microsoft Maps in your solutions.

Presenter’s Bio:

Justine Coates is a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft in the Microsoft Maps and Geospatial team. Over the past three years Justine has been working with customers to bring the power of location to their solutions as Technical Evangelist for Microsoft Maps.

Justine has a wealth of knowledge in embedded and IoT. Prior to becoming a fulltime employee with Microsoft, Justine has been working as a contractor for Microsoft for more than 15 years, for the Embedded team, the IoT team and others.
