This meetup is free-form — there are no rotations or assigned groups.
We go, we flow, we shoot, we share! Please be courteous and respectful when sharing the models.
You're free to shoot whoever inspires you, and you're not required to work with every model.

# Arrival Information

Photographers who RSVP should arrive at 3:00 PM.
Please allow extra time for traffic and parking so we can begin shooting on schedule.
Wardrobe, models, and makeup artists will all be arranged in advance so you can focus on shooting and creating.

# Lighting

You are welcome to bring your own lighting if you wish.
Please keep lighting setups portable and compact. Battery-powered lights and small modifiers are recommended.
For safety and practicality, generators and extension cords are not permitted, as they can create tripping hazards.

# Location Information

Bottle Tree Ranch: 24266 National Trails Hwy, Oro Grande, CA 92368
Bottle Tree Ranch is an outdoor art installation and iconic Route 66 location that has historically welcomed photographers and visitors. We have photographed there previously and had a positive experience.
Occasionally locations may change access policies, so as a precaution I always prepare backup locations nearby to ensure the shoot runs smoothly regardless of circumstances.

### The Artist’s Muse

Step into a space where photography meets fine art.
The Artist’s Muse is a romantic, painterly editorial shoot inspired by the softness and intimacy of Old World paintings—where women appear as if they have just stepped out of a Renaissance canvas and into the light.
We’ll be shooting in a sun-filled, Mediterranean-style home filled with antique textures, warm plaster walls, vintage furniture, and garden views. The atmosphere is quiet, timeless, and deeply artistic—designed to feel like a private residence or artist’s studio rather than a modern set.
Models will be styled in flowing slip dresses and romantic, painterly garments in soft ivories, blush tones, and muted neutrals. Think linen, silk, and delicate fabrics that drape naturally on the body—simple, sensual, and elegant. Hair and styling will be soft and lived-in, evoking the feeling of a woman at home, caught in a quiet moment meant to be studied by an artist.
Photographers are encouraged to slow down, observe, and compose with intention.
If you love creating images that feel romantic, cinematic, and museum-worthy, this shoot is for you.

Arrival & Flow
Photographers who RSVP simply need to arrive at 4:00 PM.
Everything will be taken care of for you — permits, wardrobe, models, and makeup artists.
This is a portfolio-building meetup, not a formal workshop. You’re welcome to ask questions, observe, and learn from fellow photographers throughout the shoot. All experience levels are welcome.
Shooting Style

• Bring your cameras, lenses, and any small, portable lighting you’d like
• This is a meetup-style shoot — everyone shoots together in a natural flow
• Expect a mix of brief one-on-one moments and shared shooting time
• Space is limited, so please RSVP early

Collaboration Etiquette

• There are no group rotations
• You’re free to shoot with anyone and are not required to shoot every model
• Most of the time, multiple photographers will be shooting the same model
• Please be friendly, respectful, and courteous to everyone involved

Important Guidelines

• Do not touch models without asking
• Always ask before adjusting pose, wardrobe, or hair
• No generators or cords that could cause tripping hazards
