Newport Beach Film Festival screening of The Sheepdogs Have At It

The Sheepdogs Have At It is a documentary about the Canadian Southern-style-rock band The Sheepdogs, who became the first ever unsigned band to make the cover of Rolling Stone. The film goes behind-the-scenes as they make an album -- produced by the drummer of The Black Keys -- that will be their one shot at stardom. It features some great music, and the director of the film, John Barnard, will be present for a Q & A after the screening.
