This is one of my favorite long hikes that does not feel long. I like to say try this hike out before going to Bridge to nowhere because you can get some practice out of the water crossing. This Hike starts at the riparian zone in front of the JPL (Jet Pulsion Lab), and we will start by going into heavy forested area before walking to the asphalt trail named Gabrielino trail and we will remain on that trail until the trail has no name. Some suggest we will cross 6 water crossing or 9. This all depends on the water level. We have not had any rain in last few weeks so I do not expect nothing more then knee deep. There are a lot of historical things here where this was going to be highway deep in the woods connecting smaller roads to Los Angeles. There are some odd things that is on this hike that we can take pictures with. Such as the obvious bowling ball & wheelbarrow and Devils Dam sign. There are others which is not so obvious the bucket and the lost veteran that lurks these mountains. If you can take a picture with all these, I will provide a prize for getting all the picture. Best be to stay quite and take pictures, or someone else will take the prize. This hike pattern is a liner. After the hike, we will discuss some places to go and refuel the calories that we've lost.

*Parking: In the riparian zone on the dirt, people have known to get ticket for parking slightly over the asphalt. This is no brainer but do not block JPL entrance nor attempt to take a picture or walk around it.
*We will meet at the trail head, near by JPL entrance.
Bring: hiking appropriate clothes/loose clothing, any shoes are okay, at least 2 liters of water or more, large amount of snacks or lunch, hiking pole not needed but helpful. Flash light not needed, but you can bring one if you want.

*We will wait 5-10mins before going as a courtesy for people coming late and people who are ready to hike. We know, its California.

Message me if you have any question(s) regarding the hike. See you there.
