What we’re about
Society often tells us that anger is bad—that expressing it makes us immature, irrational, or even dangerous. But anger, like any other emotion, is a natural and valid part of the human experience. Suppressing it doesn’t make it disappear; it just finds other ways to manifest.
SoCal Intellectually Unstable is a space for those who want to explore their emotions—especially anger—in a safe, reflective, and constructive way. Here, you’re encouraged to feel, express, and process your emotions without shame. Through discussion, experience, and reflection, we aim to build a deeper awareness of ourselves and how we navigate intense emotions.
This is not a place for reckless outbursts or aggression, but rather a space to learn from anger rather than fear it. Whether you want to challenge societal norms, understand your own reactions, or simply be around others who don’t shy away from deep, sometimes uncomfortable emotions, you’re welcome here.
Join us in creating a culture where emotions—especially the ones we’re told to suppress—are acknowledged, respected, and understood.
