Let's Argue: A Safe Space to Explore Anger

Details

We’re often taught that anger is a problem—something to suppress, avoid, or be ashamed of. But anger is neither good nor bad. It’s an emotion, and like any emotion, it has something to teach us.

"Let’s Argue" is an open space to safely experience, express, and reflect on anger. This isn’t about pointless conflict or aggression; it’s about learning from the visceral, in-the-moment experience of anger. How does it feel in your body? What thoughts arise? How do you react? More importantly, how can you develop awareness and control over time?

This meetup is about:
🔹 Giving yourself permission to feel anger without shame.
🔹 Engaging in real discussions—maybe even arguments—that challenge your thoughts and emotions.
🔹 Reflecting on your reactions afterward to gain insight and awareness.
🔹 Understanding how anger can be a tool for self-discovery rather than self-destruction.

Important: This is a space for personal growth, not a platform for hostility or prejudice. Disrespect, personal attacks, or intentionally provoking others will not be tolerated.

You don’t need to come with a debate topic in mind—just bring your authentic self. If something in your life recently upset you, this is the place to talk about it.

Take a deep breath as you enter, and another as you leave.
