What we're about
This is the first user group in Southern California dedicated to Microsoft Azure!
It's a free user group opened to anyone interested in learning more about the Microsoft cloud, network with other cloud enthusiasts, and shared their knowledge of Azure.
Our meetings have a monthly cadence, meeting the second Tuesday of each month. In our meetings, we bring on Microsoft MVPs, subject experts, and members of the community to present on basic to advanced Azure topics. In addition to our monthly meetings, we have held Hackathons, AzureCon, Azure Bootcamps, Azure Hands-on Labs, and have participated in many Code Camps.
Our user group continues to grow and we are now at well over 750+ members! We have a strong presence in Orange County, San Diego, and now growing in Los Angeles.
We are always seeking individuals that would like to share their knowledge of Azure with the community. If you are interested in presenting, please feel free to reach out to us.
In addition, we are always seeking partnerships with potential sponsors whose products and services alight with Microsoft Azure's offerings and can best help our members.
Please join us if you would like to learn, contribute, and network with other Azure professionals in your area.

This session will provide an overview of Azure Event Grid along with some examples of how to leverage it effectively. We'll cover it's use cases, recommended practices and demonstrate some real-life scenarios of how it can be implemented.
Choosing the right messaging services on Azure can be very challenging. There are often many patterns, limitations and considerations that an architect must evaluate when designing a solution.
This session will provide an overview of Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, Event Grid, Relay and Storage Queues. With this knowledge, we can then determine which services to use and for what scenarios.
