TRIVIA Night + Hanging out @GOLDEN ROAD Brewery near Griffith Park
Hosted by Los Angeles Board Games & a Movie.
Details
Do you like answering questions posed to you by strangers??
Are you a fan of the brewing arts?
Or do you just want to hang with some cool new people?
If at least one of these is true then come join us for Trivia Night at Golden Road Brewery. Come and hang out, have a drink, make new friends, and maybe we'll even win a $$ prize again.
Yes, we're gong back to Golden Road Brewery. It's centrally located, near where 3 freeways meet, and people just seem to like it. Plus we win every time we go there (FIRST PLACE twice, second place once). And winning is so much more fun than losing, isn't it? Plus we have some FREE BEER coming from last time. Yes...beer...free...!
So come join us for Golden Road Part IV. L.A. loves a good sequel -- right? Golden Road Brewery is in Atwater Village/Glendale (where the 5 and the 134 meet) -- sort of by Griffith Park.
The official start time of the Meetup is 7:30 pm, so try to be there by then to help get tables. But Trivia itself doesn't start until 8:00pm, so youre still good if youre a little late. And I'll actually be there at 7:00 pm so if you want more hanging out time or wanna get in more pre-Trivia beer tasting, come join me early. They also have fun games like cornhole and giant Jenga. This is posted with a few different groups so we should have a good crowd again.
So to REVIEW:
7:00pm Early meeting time (to hang out/play games/etc)
7:30pm Official Meetup Start Time
8:00pm Trivia Starts
LOOK for Sign: "AVALANCHE"
HOW TO FIND US: Trivia takes place NOT in the large main tasting room, but in the side outside covered fake lawn section to the left. We should be a fairly big group and I'll have a mini-marquee light-up sign on the table. This time look for a different word on the sign; this month's code word is "AVALANCHE." I hate the events where you wander around and can never find anyone; that WILL NOT happen here!
HOW TO FIND THE BREWERY + PARKING: Golden Road Brewing is the behemoth of L.A. craft breweries; this is a big brewery -- it's hard to miss. They have some parking in their lot and there's also free street parking on San Fernando Rd and the side streets.
FOOD: Yes, they do serve food.
DOGS: Since this is technically outside on the patio, dogs ARE allowed!
