Griffith Park Peak Views & Los Feliz Patio Brunch
Let’s decompress from our daily stressful lives and connect with our tribe for a morning hike at Griffith Park! 🥾🌿 We’ll conquer a trail, catch some great LA views, fresh air, moving our bodies, and connecting with a wonderful community of women. All fitness levels are welcome!
EVENT DETAILS
- Date: Saturday, July 25 Morning
- Meeting Time: 8:30 AM
- The Hike: Plan for a flexible 2 to 5+ mile trek. Because Griffith Park has a vast network of interconnected trails, we can adjust our exact loops on the fly based on the group's energy!
MEETING LOCATION
- Where: The Greek Theatre Parking Lots (2700 N Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027)
- Exact Spot: Meet the group in Lot G (located slightly north of the main theater building).
- Parking: Plenty of morning space is available in this lot before evening theater crowds arrive.
🗺️ THE ITINERARY & POST-HIKE BRUNCH
We will explore the scenic trails connecting to the Mt. Hollywood Trail, which offers gorgeous panoramic views of the Griffith Observatory and the LA basin. Afterward, we will head down into neighboring Los Feliz to relax, chat, and eat:
- Mustard Seed Cafe (1948 Hillhurst Ave) - optional - if you can join us
- For parking - we will be parking on the street near the restaurant
- The Vibe: A bustling, friendly California diner with lovely sidewalk patio seating.
- On the Menu: Sit-down brunch classics, lemon ricotta pancakes, avocado toast, and fresh fruit smoothies.
- 🎒 REQUIRED GEAR: THE 10 ESSENTIALS
Because the trails are interconnected and our mileage is flexible, safety comes first. All hikers must pack these 10 Essentials to ensure a safe, comfortable day on the mountain:
- Navigation: A fully charged cell phone with an offline map app (like AllTrails) downloaded.
- Hydration: At least 1.5 to 2 liters of water per person.
- Nutrition: Extra high-energy trail snacks (nuts, protein bars, or fruit).
- Sun Protection: Sunglasses, sun-protective clothing, and broad-spectrum sunscreen.
- First Aid: A basic personal first aid kit containing bandages, antiseptic wipes, and blister treatment.
So excited to see you and catch up soon! We're definitely planning to host more of these, so this is just the beginning
