Nintendo Switch 1 + 2 Local Play!

Overview: Let's meet up to play some Nintendo games on Nintendo's newest console, the Switch 2, as well as on the Switch 1 which has a plethora of great hits! I'll be bringing my Switch 2 and Switch 1 so we can have some quality local multiplayer gaming going on both consoles. We will have both of my consoles connected to TVs which will be able to have up to 4 players locally on each of them. I will be bringing 8 controllers (2 Switch 1 pro controllers, 2 Switch 2 pro controllers, 1 GameCube controller, 2 sets of Switch 2 Joy-Cons, and 1 set of Switch 1 Joy-Cons) so we have the option to support up to 8 people on two separate consoles. I'm aiming to have Mario Kart World going on the Switch 2 and Smash Ultimate on the Switch 1 and will also have Mario Party Superstars, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and N64 - Nintendo Classics (with games like Mario Party 1-3 and Mario Kart 64 on it) available for additional options to include in the rotation.

What to Bring: It is NOT required to bring anything as I'll have two Switches connected to TVs! However, depending on if anyone has an extra system and RSVPs (which I might adjust the limit), I might request one or two more people to bring a Switch 1 or Switch 2 console with their dock and controllers as I only have one of each system and so we can put one or two more TVs to good use for multiplayer goodness and have everyone playing at once. Also, if you prefer to use your own controller or don't want to potentially have to use Joy-Cons (which are pretty uncomfortable compared to the pro controller), I would encourage you to bring one so you have that option available.

Food & Drinks: We will be meeting at Subterranean Coffee Boutique in North Park which has sandwiches, salads, bagels, pastries, toasts, and other breakfast items as well as a variety of coffees and teas available for purchase. Outside food and drinks are NOT allowed so definitely come hungry and/or thirsty and let's support Subterranean for being so generous to host our event!

Parking: Subterranean is located in North Park which is all street parking and can be pretty difficult, but in case you're unable to find a parking space (or you don't want to spend too much time looking for a parking space), I recommend parking in the North Park parking garage located here which is only a $5 flat rate and a block away from Subterranean: https://maps.app.goo.gl/1iSnoMEvtJWUGbyv7
