ALN Monthly Book Club: 2026-2027 Book Selection (Old Town)

Hey everybody, it's that special time of year again, where we all get together to argue over which books we like (or hate!) enough to want all our friends to read. That's right, it's ALN Nerdy Book Club book selection!

We will be hosting this event IN PERSON, outdoors, at Presidio Park in Old Town! We typically meet at the picnic tables in the shade at the end of the loop made by Cosoy Way. Please see the embedded map below for more details.

We will be accepting submissions until Sunday 9/20 at 11:59 PM. At that time, voting will be closed to give time to create a voting calendar.

We will vote on books on a month-by-month basis, starting with October and ending with August, then votes for non-monthly books (such as Epic or Non-Fiction). Each person who suggested a book will have 1 minute to tell us why we should read their book, and when all books for a month have been presented, we will vote!
