ALN Monthly Book Club: I Who Have Never Known Men (Old Town)

For our November Monthly Book Club, we will be reading Jacqueline Harpman's "I Who Have Never Known Men!"

We will be hosting this event IN PERSON, outdoors, at Presidio Park in Old Town! We typically meet at the picnic tables in the shade at the end of the loop made by Cosoy Way. Please see the embedded map below for more details.

"As far back as I can recall, I have been in the bunker." A young woman is kept in a cage underground with 39 other females, guarded by armed men who never speak; her crimes unremembered, if indeed there were crimes. The youngest of the 40 - a child with no name and no past- she survives for some purpose long forgotten in a world ravaged and wasted.
