This isn’t a dating group—and it’s definitely not for hookups. But if you’re looking for great company, meaningful conversations, and unforgettable experiences with fun, active, like-minded people, you’re in the right place.
We’re here to:

- Get out of the house and try new things
- Build a community of quality people who support and uplift each other
This group is best for those who are:

While this group was originally designed for singles, you don’t have to be single to join. If you’ve got a partner who’s not into trying new things—or you're a couple who just wants to expand your social circle—we welcome you, too! The focus is on friendship, not relationship status.
We welcome people from all walks of life—divorced, widowed, separated, empty nesters, or anyone who’s just looking for a fun, welcoming social circle. If you're in your 40s to 60s (or a little outside that range), come join us!
✨We’re all about mingling—not matchmaking.
"Mingling" means interacting socially, not searching for romance. Of course, friendships can grow into something more, but that’s not our intention or focus. No pressure, no awkwardness—just real people, real connections.
This group has hosted 850+ events since launching in June 2021, and that's just the beginning! We keep our attendance numbers real and our vibe welcoming. But to keep this group feeling like a second family, we are selective about who joins—and we reserve the right to remove anyone who’s not a great fit or violates group expectations.
We love variety! Expect events like:
Hiking, bike rides, travel, walking meetups, kayaking, karaoke, theater, potlucks, dining out, happy hours, comedy nights, live music, and more. If it sounds fun, we’re probably doing it—or we will soon!
💡 Have an idea for an event you’d like to host? We’re all ears! While we’re not actively recruiting new organizers, we love fresh ideas—especially when someone’s excited to take the lead.

This is a safe space for everyone, and we take that seriously. Please don’t private message members out of the blue or assume anyone is looking for something romantic. Creepiness, gossip, or drama? Not welcome here.

## Group Rules and Policies
(Please read before joining or attending any event)
✨ Profile Photo Required
All members must have a current, clear, and recognizable photo of themselves. No old photos, partial face, memes, cartoons, pets, kids, sunglasses, or scenic shots. This helps us identify members at events. Accounts without appropriate photos may be removed.
🚫 Zero Tolerance for No-Shows & Disrespect
We invest time, energy, and sometimes money into creating great events—so we expect members to show up when they RSVP. Life happens, but if you can’t make it, please update your RSVP as soon as possible.
- Members with 3+ no-shows or frequent last-minute cancellations may be removed.
- Respect for all organizers, hosts, and fellow members is non-negotiable.
📆 Active Member Policy
To stay in the group, members must attend at least one event per quarter (every 3 months) on average. Simply RSVPing does not count—you must attend. This helps us maintain a vibrant, engaged community. Repeated inactivity or frequent cancellations may result in removal.
📩 Respect Privacy & Boundaries
Please do not message members you haven’t met in person, unless it’s to ask a question about an event or connect with a host/organizer. Any communication should be welcome and respectful. Unsolicited or uncomfortable messages are not allowed.
💬 Not a Dating Group
This is a friendship-focused social group—not a dating service. If a romantic connection happens naturally, great! But if things don’t work out, please keep any drama away from the group.
😬 No Creepy Vibes—Ever
Let’s keep it safe and fun for everyone. That means no staring, stalking, inappropriate comments, or unwanted advances—toward anyone. Be respectful of personal space and social cues. If your behavior makes someone uncomfortable, it’s not acceptable here.

🚫 Membership Removals
If you are removed from the group, it may be due to:
– Incomplete answers to join questions
– An unclear or inappropriate profile photo
– Violation of group rules or boundaries
This is a private group—the organizer reserves the right to decide who may remain a member. If you feel these rules are too strict or don’t align with your values, we understand—but this group may not be the right fit for you.
