👋 Welcome to SoCal Museums Goers!
SoCal has over 50 museums and cool exhibits! Connect with this great community while exploring exhibits, museums, galleries, and pop-ups.

👉🏾Who can join: Anyone who enjoys arts and culture.

👉🏾Events: While most events and activities will be museum visits around SoCal, other activities that promote community building and creativity will be incorporated. It is recommended to google the locations of each event as some might be beyond a five mile radius of central LA. (Events are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances).

👉🏾Membership: Currently there is no membership dues. In the future, this group will have paid membership, with a trial period. Before this change will be made, there will be a 1 month advance notice.

👉🏾Commitment level: low

SoCal Museum Goers has rules 🤷🏽‍♀️, but that's what will keep it thriving and organized. So please read the General Membership Rules before requesting membership.

✨ GENERAL EVENT OR MEMBERSHIP RULES ✨

MEMBERS needing to cancel an RSVP must do so 24 hours before the start time of the event. Members with 3 No Shows or Late Cancellations will be removed from the group.
MEMBERS are required to host a related event within 3-6 months of membership.
MEMBERS are required to attend 1 event within 6 months of membership.
MEMBERS must provide the organizer with their contact number at the time of signing, so that the organizer can contact you if needed. If you don't, then your RSVP will be canceled.
MEMBERS are to respect other members online and at events. Violation of this will result in immediate removal.
Events will be cancelled if there are less than 4 RSVPs three hours prior to the start of an event. The Host or organizer does not count as an RSVP.
MEMBERS may promote an event on this site or request talent from this group, but only after being a paid member for 6 months or more.

The Hollywood Sculpture Garden is really a neat place . . . AND WE GET TO VISIT AND HAVE A DAYTIME COFFEE SOCIAL THERE!!!
It's located on private property and not normally open to the public. So it is indeed a special thing for us to go.

Now . . . About this event: It is outdoors in a super-funky, pretty and cute location of The Hollywood Sculpture Garden.
This is intended as a Coffee and Convo surrounded by Art.
A perfect way to meetup some quality people in a fabulous location.
Oh!!!!!! One other thing
It's a pastries pot luck. I will be providing coffee and fresh made lattes for those that wish. BUT . . . to get a latte you need to bring a place or box of pastries to share.
Your ticket for entry is a pastries. Bring anything that is good to share for serve 10 people.
I will provide the tables, dishes, plastic-ware, cups, napkins, etc.
Frist: RSPV to the event.

Third: Pick up pastries to bring to the event.
Fourth: Show up (at the event) with your best self and be ready to be social and have fun.
I know what you are thinking . . .

- will I be able to fit in and enjoy too?

PARKING: Parking is tight to non-existent the location. The Google Form will used to make sure you have ALL the best parking info.
This event is cross posted to several meetup groups. So there will be plenty of folks.
