Coffee Chat and Meetup
Details
We will be holding our next morning coffee chat on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at GoodPeople Coffee Co in Sawtelle (West LA). Please come out to connect and chat with fellow developers! The venue features a huge outdoor patio space out back where we will be meeting. They serve a variety of beverages and some brunch options as well. Attendance is free and welcome to everyone, but we ask that you please purchase a coffee or snack on your way to the patio to show your support for the venue! Looking forward to seeing you there!
The PyCon US Call for Proposals deadline is December 19th (and is taking place nearby in Long Beach this year)! If you are interested in submitting a talk or tutorial proposal, please come by and workshop your idea with us!
Car/Parking: There is limited metered street parking on Santa Monica Blvd in front of the venue. I would recommend parking at LADOT lot #651 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/sx1pqS2pt61rY8Db7, enter via Barry Ave. just north of Santa Monica Blvd.) or lot #656 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/VX57Q7fMudJGdBHk8, via Colby Ave south of Santa Monica Blvd.). Both are $1/hr, 2 hour maximum. There is also some residential parking on the nearby side streets (Barry, Federal, Colby, and Rochester), but Sawtelle is a fairly old and dense area, so it is limited.
Arriving by Transit: Big Blue Bus Route #1 stops one block away at Federal Ave on Santa Monica.
