After a highly collaborative first circle in April, Social Enterprise Alliance is moving forward with bi-weekly happy hours to foster mutual aid and collaboration amongst our community in the San Francisco Bay Area. At each event, we’ll hold space for a reciprocity circle and virtually cheers to our future endeavors and success. Feel free to bring a glass of your favorite wine, beer, or sparkling water to cheer along!

About SEA Reciprocity Circles + Happy Hours
SEA Reciprocity Circles are a dynamic group exercise that brings social entrepreneurs together to “pay-it-forward” by sharing tools, resources, and connections that support individual and collective growth. During the happy hour, each individual will have a chance to share a challenge they’re currently experiencing and make specific requests from other circle members, in line with those needs. Through using a Reciprocity Circle, we can get important information and solve real problems, both personal and professional!

This theme for this week’s circle is Public-Private Partnership Development, facilitated by SEA/SF member Marcus Griswold.

Bring your questions and asks on how to align your goals with public agencies and NGOs. Marcus is a Senior Climate Resilience Specialist at the County of San Mateo, leading climate adaptation policies and programs that help communities and ecosystems prepare for a changing climate. He has worked at the interface of non-profits and government for 15 years to increase impact through partnerships, shared goals, and coalitions on climate change and environmental justice issues. He co-founded and has been a Board Member for non-profits focused on water and special needs. He enjoys getting into nature by boat and foot with his two boys.

RSVP quickly to ensure your spot! Each circle is capped at 10 participants. There’s a new theme for discussion each week.

Agenda:
Welcome & introductions over drinks. Cheers!
Each participant is invited to share an ask/idea with the circle; others share what they might be able to contribute to that ask
