Valley View Hot Springs Day Trip
Details
IMPORTANT: Read full description of this post. Let me know if you have any questions.
This time I will be spending 2 days there. Going to be sleeping in my car. Since this is a late notice, there may only be tent spots available if you want to spend the night. They might still have day passes available for the 25th or 26th.
Reservations are required. Currently $20 for a day trip. You will need to call the facility to get one scheduled. Must also be a member to get a reservation. Cheapest membership is $35 a year. I can get 3 people in (that do not live with me) off of my membership. People 17 and under get in free and do not count toward the daily limit. Please let me know as soon as possible if you would like me to get you in off my membership.
In order to get in off my membership, it is easier for me to pay, but i will need payment from you first. You can either get it to me in person or Venmo (@Affe-XIII ). There is a $5 cancelation fee that I will be charged if you are not able to make it. If something happens and you are not able to make it, I will refund your money minus the cancelation fee
Reservations fill up fast, so let me know as soon as possible.
Anyone who has never been to a natural hot springs should look into it. Valley View has a view of the San Luis Valley and it is close to the Great Sand Dunes. Nature lovers will appreciate that this land is a protected environment for wildlife. The area is powered by hydroelectric power. There is a bat cave, hiking trails, farm, pool, cooking pavilion, and the sauna with a cool dip.
