April 28th 7:30- 9:00 PM Monthly Member Meeting
at Keyport Yacht Club.
Greg White will speak about "What could possibly go wrong on a small daysailer"
This will be a multimedia presentation including diagrams, photos and videos. Come prepared to share your own videos about what went wrong.
All members are encouraged to sign up for “Patch”, an online newspaper. Sign up for your town and you can post an ad for Small Boat Days or Learn to Sail classes for no cost. Patch covers New Jersey and beyond and notifications are local for you town.
Please consider renewing your SEAS membership for 2026 as your 2025 membership has expired. It is easy to do on the membership page. **https://sailseas.com/Monmouth/registration.htm**
All members are asked to volunteer at least 4 hours of their time during the year. There are several ways to do this: work on the boats, take people out sailing, teach basic sailing, serve on a committee, among others. This year we will host Sailfest for all the 4 chapters which requires a lot of volunteers.
Calling all members or prospective members with marketing/publicity experience. We are looking for volunteers to help with ideas/activities to communicate our activities and goals to fill our basic sailing classes and introduce our organization to prospective members. Graphic designers, social media users, anyone with a passion to get our brand out to the community are welcome to volunteer.
Have a sailing topic you would be willing to present at our monthly meeting? Content could include a cruise you participated in, a particular skill you feel confident in (how to repair hull damage, common knots, anchoring techniques, etc.). The presentation should be 30 to 45 minutes in length.
SEAS Monmouth is a 501-C3 non profit organization. We welcome tax deductible donations from individuals or from employers who have a donation option.
