Casual Outdoor Volleyball

Welcome back to another Volleyball Meetup! We will be playing a casual, beginner friendly, volleyball game at Jeff Young Memorial Park. Two sand courts are available. See you all there!

Parking:

• Big parking lot behind the Fire House

What to bring:

• Sunscreen
• Water
• Rag to brush off the sand
• A spare Volleyball (if you like)

Basic rules to keep the game fun/casual:

• Serves are from behind the court boundary line. Server calls the score with each serve.
• Each team is allowed 3 touches on the ball before going over the net.
• The ball touched the net? Still in play. Player touches the net? Other team's point.
• If the ball moves the ribbon (boundary line) it counts as a point instead of being Out-of-Bounds.
• Ask if you need any refreshers! We're all happy to have new teammates!
