🌅 SUNSET YOGA & MEDITATION AT CROSBY BEACH 🌑
Join us for a special 60-minute yoga & meditation class on the beautiful Crosby waterfront — with the added magic of the partial solar eclipse happening during our session! ☀️🌑🌊
Unwind, move and breathe with the sound of the waves, while experiencing this rare celestial event from the beach.

🌑 THE SOLAR ECLIPSE
The partial eclipse will be visible from Crosby, with maximum eclipse at approximately 7:10pm, just after we begin our class. The eclipse will continue until around 8:04pm.
We'll begin our yoga practice at 7pm, flow through the eclipse, and finish with meditation and relaxation as the eclipse comes to an end. 🧘‍♂️🌑
Please bring proper eclipse glasses if you have them. Regular sunglasses are not sufficient protection for looking directly at the Sun.
📍 WHERE TO MEET
We'll meet at 6:45pm at the black gate at the end of Mariners Road, alongside the Crosby Leisure Centre car park.
The gate leads directly towards the beach, and we'll walk onto the sand together so we're ready to begin at 7pm.
🚆 By train: Blundellsands & Crosby station is approximately a 10-minute walk away.
🚗 Parking: Free parking is available on surrounding streets and roads.
⚠️ Please don't use the leisure centre car park — it's for leisure centre customers only.
🧘‍♂️ WHAT TO EXPECT
My teaching style combines:
• Relaxation

• Meditation
Every posture is an invitation, with gentle modifications available throughout — so absolute beginners and people completely new to yoga are very welcome.
Regular practitioners are also welcome to bring their own blocks, straps or other equipment.
🎒 WHAT TO BRING
☀️ Water — it's going to be a hot evening
🧴 Sun cream
🧘‍♂️ Yoga mat or beach towel
👕 Comfortable clothing / gym wear
👟 Beach-appropriate footwear for walking to our spot
🌑 Certified eclipse glasses, if you have them
Don't have a mat? Home Bargains sell inexpensive yoga mats, and a beach towel will work too.

I'd recommend sending the bank details privately to people who book rather than putting them on the public Instagram advertisement.
🌦️ WEATHER
We'll go ahead as long as conditions are dry and suitable.
If the weather is wet or severely windy, the class will be cancelled and everyone booked will be notified.
