If you love moving to the music, if you are looking for a new and fun hobby, if you’d like to meet new people, then join us at one of these events. Some events are free and offer introduction to salsa, bachata, or social ballroom dancing.
We are here to spread the word about dancing and share it with others, so more people can discover it and enjoy it!
You are invited to join us at one of the social dance events that we attend and post. We would be happy to introduce you to different dances and answer all your questions. You will meet new people and will be able to try out some of the dances. Join us!

Dancing on the Fifth: Swingin' Dancing on the Fifth Saturday of the Month
Lesson: Samba (beginner/intermediate) 7:00 – 8:00 PM
Instructor: EJ
Social Dance: 8:00 – 11:00 PM
After the lesson, our guest DJ and will play a great playlist of all your favorite dances including East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Rumba, Night Club 2-Step, Country 2-Step, ChaCha, Bachata, Salsa and many more! So, you are in store for another night of exciting dance!
Cost: $15 per adult / $10 per student (full time students only; must present ID)

***Dancers are encouraged to bring their own bottles of water and bottled water will be available.
Light refreshments and snacks served. Free parking. No partner needed. Friendly atmosphere, and a great dance floor with high ceilings and upgraded ventilation with high efficiency filters.

2026 New Year's Eve Celebration

Join us on Wednesday, December 31st, from 8:00pm-12:30am for Central Jersey Dance Society’s legendary New Year’s Eve Dinner Dance at the Suzanne Patterson Center! Stay local—save on gas, tolls, and parking. No need to travel all the way to New York City!

Come and dance to East Coast Swing, Waltz, Hustle, Salsa, Bachata, Foxtrot, Cha Cha, Argentine Tango, Ballroom Tango, West Coast Swing, Samba, and many more!
We will have a full buffet throughout the evening that will include catered Italian, Mexican, and Asian main courses plus ample side dishes, desserts and beverages and coffee!
We will also have a midnight countdown clock and show the Time Square ball drop on our large projector screen.
