A friendly, inclusive, social group for all, aimed at people in their 40’s and 50’s although all are welcome. We will be hosting a variety of fun social events as well as cultural events and walks.

'The Snowman' Film with Live Orchestra @ Stockport Town Hall 🐝⛄️🐝

Presented by Carrot Productions – the world's leading performers of The Snowman film with live orchestra – our award-winning show features some of the UK's finest professional musicians.
All shows will feature a special screening of The Snowman, accompanied by our live orchestra. There will also be a fun, festive medley and introduction to the orchestra created by CBeebies Musical Storyland composer, Daniel Whibley, and a special visit from the Snowman himself!
As an extra bonus, each performance will include a second short film, also accompanied live by our orchestra. For 2025, we have commissioned a fantastic new animation to accompany probably the greatest and most beloved guide to the orchestra ever composed: Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf.12 attendees
