Scale your impact, not your organization

Loic van Cutsem is the co-Director of Impact Transfer, an Ashoka initiative which supports the replication of proven social innovations and enterprises in new contexts with the relevant local partners.

During this session, Loic will share some case studies, address scaling readiness and present briefly their replication toolkit, covering questions like WHY to replicate, WHAT to replicate (what is your core), HOW to replicate, WHO to partner with, WHERE to replicate.

Loïc studied International Business Management and launched his first social business in Peru when he was twenty years old. He started his career in strategy and organizational consultancy, and moved on to marketing and finance management roles. His strong desire to combine his passion for social and environmental impact with his business background led him to becoming Director of Sustainability/CSR for the major Belgian telecom operator. In this role, Loic led the transformation of the company towards more sustainability and impact, positioning it as a pioneer in the telecom sector. As his passion for social entrepreneurship grew stronger, he co-founded two social enterprises and launched an accelerator to support the development of 60+ social enterprises. Loic was also involved in EC-funded studies on scaling social enterprises. With Ashoka, Loïc focuses on developing the Impact Transfer Agency, which supports the transfer of proven social innovations into new geographies, scaling the impact of existing solutions rather than reinventing the wheel.
Loic currently lives in Vienna, has two boys, and enjoys sailing and getting lost in nature.
