We are going to give this park a try, I have played here several times before.

There are other chess players that play here but they play almost strictly 5 minute blitz games. They only take up 2 sometimes 3 tables.

There are about 8 to 12 tables tables at this park (I forgot exactly how many it's at least 8 but really I think it's 12)

Either way we will play amongst our group with slower time controls

(however if anyone wants to jump in with them at the 5 blitz games your more than welcome to)

There is a 7-Eleven near by for drinks & snacks, and a Target a block away for the restroom. There are also a lot of restaurants near by (within a 7 block radius), a LOT of restaurants and food options, including food trucks, bakeries, cafes, pizza, a couple of bars here and there, just a lot of different food, drink and snack options.

(you could go to that area every weekend for a year and never get board of it)

I will proved 3 chess sets including clocks.
I do ask that if you can to please bring a chess set, if you can't it's fine.

You can take the E, F, R and M trains to "Forest Hills - 71 Ave" - "Continental Ave"

The park is a block away from the train station.
