Hello everyone,
I am happy to create our next meet up for an evening of Ecstatic Dance.
I know some members are already familiar with Ecstatic Dance. In case, some are not, here is an excerpt from the event facilitator herself. I have, pretty much, copy and paste most of the information about her event on her own meet up group page.

This unique gathering is designed to create a safe and sacred space for you to freely express yourself, let go of inhibitions, and dance your heart out. Our intention is to merge the power of ecstatic movement with the profound energy of purpose, allowing you to experience a deep sense of joy, liberation, and self-discovery.
Throughout the evening, we will be guided by a renowned facilitator, Kelsey Grace Hall, who will lead us through a carefully curated playlist of eclectic and soul-stirring beats, taking us on a rhythmic journey that will leave you buzzing and soul-nourished. Get ready to groove, sway, and surrender to the rhythm of your own unique dance.
In addition to the joyous celebration, we will also explore the healing potential of dance and the spiritual practice of aligning our chakras. You will have the opportunity to participate in guided chakra activations, energy work, and meditative moments, allowing you to tap into the profound wisdom and vitality within yourself.
Attire for the event is playful and colorful, encouraging self-expression and embracing the vibrant energy of the evening. Feel free to dress in a way that makes you feel comfortable, authentic, and ready to dance your heart out!
Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the event, and if you wish, you can also bring a small token or object that represents your inner child. This will be a powerful symbol of our intention to reconnect with the pure, playful essence that resides within each of us.
We encourage you to invite your friends who share a passion for dance, personal growth, and joyous self-expression. Let's create a vibrant community of like-minded souls, ready to embark on this magical journey together.

Come, dance, and celebrate life with us at the Ecstatic Dance & Party with Purpose! Let us honor our inner child, ignite our chakras, and unite in the transformative power of movement and joy.
This event is free and if you feel called to donate or tip, there will be a jar or QR code to Venmo.
The first ten minutes will be an Introduction, then free flowing for an hour and a half. We will close with a meditation and time to meet some new friends!

And now, I have a question for members intested in attending. Would you like to meet an hour earlier 5pm, at same location, so that we can spend sometime together? Or do you prefer to attend the Ecstatic dance event only?
Please, let me know your thoughts about it.

Note: This is not a contact improv workshop. I have seen people doing ‘contact improve’ while dancing at an Ecstatic Dance event but this is a free style dance. You choose whether you want to dance alone or connect through movement with others.
Personally, I go in and out of a Trance state and dance solo. Of course, part of me is aware and mindful of my surroundings. I do not want to bump into anyone by mistake.

This is a beautiful practice to experience. Not only it helps connect with the body, mind and soul, but it is very healing and rejuvenating because it helps release any negative feelings or emotions that are stuck in our bodies.
