West Coast Swing (WCS) is an improvised partner dance that can be danced to almost any modern music from pop and R&B to blues and acoustic. It’s known for its relaxed connection, musical variety, and room for creativity. Whether you’re new to dancing or already have some experience, WCS offers a friendly way to move, connect, and enjoy music together.

Foundations: Weekly Dancing Class in West Coast Swing

West Coast Swing (WCS) is a smooth and playful partner dance that can be danced to almost any modern music from pop and R&B to blues and acoustic. It’s known for its relaxed connection, musical variety, and room for creativity. Whether you’re new to dancing or already have some experience, WCS offers a friendly way to move, connect, and enjoy music together.🎶 Course Material
In the foundations course, you’ll learn the basic patterns of West Coast Swing and rhythm structures typical for this style. By the end, you’ll be ready to hit the social floor and dance with anyone to any music.🏛 The Venue
The workshops take place at the Tanzzentrum am Wochenmarkt next to Göttingen city center. The venue has a dance floor with mirrors, rest zone, and rooms to change clothes. I personally admire the atmosphere there. ☺️💃 What to Bring with You
Comfy clothes and no/low heel shoes. At the dance school, there are rooms to change before the class.
Important to know!
High heels are not allowed because of the dance floor material.
