Kickstart a regular Social eLearning meetup - Wednesdays

We are so overdue for a meeting. I chatted with Heidi Galassini after last weeks meeting. We are going to try to gather a group to get a regular meetup session going.

Each Wednesday for the next month or so I will have Wednesday evening free (7pm-9pm) in the Downtown Sanford. Initially Busters Bistro seems a good spot to gather casually to meet new members, and share ideas about meeting topics of interest. Once the group begins to build we can determine a more formal meeting place where we can do presentations and collaborate on new eLearning concepts.

This week I will share some of the projects I am involved with in mobile eLearning, collaborative and connected platforms, and the new technologies we are developing to enrich the learning process. These include:

Mobile Courseware for a global NGO organization, 50 Storyline 2 Assessments and interactive exercises embedded in an a courseware textbook.

Prototypes built for the IEEE in conjunction with Advanced Distributed Learning Initiative. Adobe Captivate Assessments and interactive collaboration embedded in a training brief.

Bring a laptop or tablet and share some of your projects. There is free wifi, plus great appetizers, and a spectacular Belgian wine and beer selection.
