Chennai Social Entrepreneurs group (part of Unconvention|SpeakerSeries) is a local hub for social entrepreneurs with monthly event that share knowledge from sector leaders, create networking opportunities, and connect you to a large community of support. The motto is to showcase the opportunities available in the social enterprise sector and inspire more people to take social entrepreneurship to impact India's poor.
This is a Villgro initiative. Villgro is India's foremost Social Enterprise Incubator. Villgro funds, mentors and incubates early-stage, innovation-based social enterprises that impact the lives of India’s poor. Since 2001, Villgro has worked with 103 innovators and provided Rs 76 million in seed funding.
