As our "regular readers" know ,,,,we tend to travel a lot for our Midweeks (metaphorically speaking),,,, jet-setting from coast to coast on our culinary excursions. So this week, let's stretch our wings and head to the Pacific Rim via one of Houston's more eclectic culinary destinations - LORO Asian Smokehouse. And for those unfamiliar,,,,, when we're thinking LORO, we're thinking:

LORO Asian was founded in 2018 by the owners of Franklin Barbecue and Uchi, to provide the ultimate fusion experience by merging their loves of both Asian and Texas cuisine. Housed in what used to be an old church, LORO provides an eclectic menu, covering the gamut from noodles, to salads, to fried chicken and cheddar burgers.
