Hey Everyone,

So, I'd driven by THE COOKSHACK on Washington numerous times, but never ventured in. When I finally did, I was pleasantly surprised. Great layout, cool patio and a wider menu than one might expect - chock full of HEALTHY (well ,,,,healthier ??) FOOD OPTIONS BASED AROUND "BEEF'S LEANER COMPETITOR" ,,,,THE CHICKEN. For years I'd read the ecumenical admonition from their rival restauranteur to "Eat Mor Chikin." And while this may not have been the location their rival's marketing team had in mind for my initial foray into the "fowl"er side of OTC dining (ouch😣 ,,,) - I'M READY TO DIVE IN !

And what does our wide array of white meat menu options include ? Think tenders, sandwiches, tacos, waffles, ribs (hey ,,,they're still white meat ,,,right ?? 🤔), as well as several salad options for any non-meat eaters in our midsts. To drink - beer, margaritas, wine, soft drinks and tea. And for dessert - let's top things off with chocolate chip or butterscotch ice cream sandwiches.
