LET'S RODEO !!!! 🤠👢🐴 - Check Out Rodeo Houston

Hey Everyone,

"This ain't my first Rodeo ,,,,,,,it's my second" 🤠🤠🤨 ,,,at least that's what the memes said when I was googling photos for this event. Anyhow, whether it's your 1st, 2nd or 42nd time, let's get together on Saturday March 7th and EXPERIENCE RODEO HOUSTON !!!

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is the LARGEST LIVESTOCK SHOW IN THE WORLD and is a HUGE PART OF THE LIFE OF OUR CITY. In addition to the roping and riding events associated with a traditional livestock show, the NRG complex includes a variety of shops, restaurants and shows, as well as a full carnival. So whether you are a country & western fan, or just want to participate in the general festivities, there is something for everyone to see and do. And although we'll have some "trained veterans" in attendance, THIS EVENT IS AN EXCELLENT WAY FOR A FIRST-TIMER TO GET A FEEL FOR THE RODEO.

In addition to the fun part of checking out the Rodeo, this event will be crowded and it will be logistically challenging. So ,,,,,

To attend this event:

1) BUY TICKETS - BEFORE YOU ARRIVE, go to the Rodeo Houston website under tickets here: https://www.rodeohouston.com/tickets/ . Click on "Buy Tickets" and PURCHASE A 2026 DAILY GROUNDS ADMISSION TICKET for approx. $26.

2) WHERE TO PARK - BEFORE THE DAY OF THE EVENT, go to the Rodeo Houston website under tickets here https://www.rodeohouston.com/tickets/ . Click on "Parking and Transportation" at the top of the screen to familiarize yourself with where to park. Uber is always a recommended option.

3) WE WILL BE IN THE CHAMPION WINE GARDEN. TO FIND THE WINE GARDEN - BEFORE YOU ARRIVE, go to the Rodeo Houston website under tickets here https://www.rodeohouston.com/tickets/ , click on "Plan Your Visit" click on "Map" and in the search bar enter "Champion Wine Garden presented by Frost Bank" to locate the Champion Wine Garden (Yeah ,,,this is the DIY part 🙂🙂). We'll post our exact location in the Wine Garden in the "Event Description" section of this meetup event page on the day of the event.

4) PLAN TO ARRIVE AT THE CHAMPION WINE GARDEN BY 5 PM. IF YOU DO NOT ARRIVE BY 7 PM AT THE LATEST YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO FIND THE GROUP. We'll post our exact location in the Wine Garden in the "Event Description" section of this meetup event page on the day of the event. Also, it can take up to an hour to get from the parking lot to the Wine Garden (depending on circumstances) so please plan accordingly.

5) At 7 PM we will leave the Wine Garden to explore the Rodeo, including the horse show, carnival and Rodeo night club (The Hideout). After 7 PM our group will be mobile for most of the night amid large crowds. So ,,,,,,,,,IF YOU DO NOT ARRIVE AND CONNECT WITH THE GROUP IN THE WINE GARDEN BY 7 PM YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO FIND THE GROUP.
